The Orange County Register has a writeup on the 2013 Injured Warrior Appreciation Run. Thanks everyone for helping to make this such a successful event for our troops!
The online registration for the 2013 Injured Warrior Appreciation Run is now closed. If you still want to go, the on-site registration begins at 7:30am at Orange County Harley-Davidson. You can still make donations to this great event on our registration page.
It is going to be a great event! We’ll share info about the event on this site in the coming weeks, so check back, or sign up at the bottom of the front page to get email updates.
Remember, registration and check in begins at 7:30am on November 1. Please DO NOT show up before 7:30am as the road closures and staff setup won’t be complete until then. If you haven’t registered, you should be there by 8:30am at the very latest to ensure you are ready to go by the 9:30 departure time.
To make the check in on November 1 as quick as possible, you’ll need your ticket for the ride. When you registered, you received an email that had a PDF attachment. Simply bring that in and you’re all set. If you cannot find it, go to our ticket provider and select “Print Tickets” at the top of the page. Enter the email address you registered with and you should get another copy. Be sure to check your spam folder just in case your email app or provider put it there.
Here are the sponsors that have generously donated for the 2013 ride. Without their kindness, this event would not be possible.

We are thrilled to announce that our ride will include an escort by five very special cars – “Fueled by the Fallen”. These unique commemorative Camaro cars honor those Americans who were victims of the 9/11 attacks. There is one car for each of the following groups:
This rolling tribute is not to be missed. Find out more about these unique cars here and on you tube video below. Please join them to pay tribute to our injured military at the 2nd Annual Injured Warrior Appreciation Run on November 1st. Register today!
Please consider supporting our injured men and women who must leave their military service. You can find out more about how to help by hiring a vet or the spouse of an injured vet. Contact Gary.Zegley@usmc.mil
Things are on track for our 2013 Injured Warrior Appreciation Run, but this great event isn’t your only opportunity to help these warriors. On Sunday, August 4, Freedom Station ~ Warrior Foundation is hosting a benefit breakfast in Julian. You can find more info in this flyer. If you are available, it would be a great use of your time, and the Warriors would appreciate it!
