Tours in Nam:
1st. Cav Airmobile/F-Troop 9th. CAV. I have been riding since my Military OOS date September 12th. 1972. I Ride in parades with my wife “Amanda” and we are Members of the Patriot guard riders and have been since 2004 at the beginning. It would be our Honor to ride for this cause. Member of the order of the PURPLE HEART with OAK LEAF and STAR. I was awarded my SPURS and Combat AIR MEDAL with TRIPLE OAK LEAF. I will never forget that even in Nixon’s last few days in office he visited us this is the only time since I had served that anyone acknowledged us.
I remember what it was like sitting in the hospital in Germany and then Long Beach waiting for someone to at the very least acknowledged or service without throwing Tomatoes, Lettuce and occasional disgusting welcome home baby killer. As long as my wife and I live we will honor those who served and sacrificed for a sometimes Un-Grateful nation.

Ed,
Thank you, and all those that served, for your service in Vietnam. I was to be eligible for the draft in ’74 but it ended in ’73. I remember very well the non-support our troops were given, not only when they were fighting in Vietnam but when they returned home they were treated poorly as well, it was shameful how they were treated, or should I say not treated. I had a brother that was in the Air Force at the time as well as having friends of the family that lost their lives in Vietnam. I remember being appalled at how the young men returning were not celebrated, recognized, or thanked in any way. So again thank you, and all Vietnam Veterans.
